Krista Woods, LCSW; Clinical Director/Therapist, is licensed in IL, IN, TX, and FL. She has been a conference presenter and trainer on issues of diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I); along with chronic mental illness, substance abuse, and domestic violence since 1994. She has provided CISM in multiple settings; virtually and in person across the US and internationally, and serving as a mental health crisis responder for many years. She has worked in corporate leadership in managed care and in her therapy practice near Chicago and Dallas. She is biracial person of color and has supported BIPOC and LGBTQ individuals and communities throughout the duration of her career. Throughout the racial and civil unrest in the past year, she has been called on frequently by EAPs to provide support to individuals and companies challenged by recent community and national events, and helping others learn how to be advocates and allies to BIPOCs, LGBTQ and immigrants.
