Francesca Bartoccini, born in Rome, is a first officer of an Italian airline and psychotherapist with relational systemic orientation, EMDR therapist. She has been worked as a psychologist in emergency services for the last 18 years and met ICISF work and Peer Support in 2011. Thanks to Peer Support she has sealed the union between her experiences creating in Italy a vibrant community of volunteers who offer their service to the community and in various professional fields. Her tireless, volunteer work as a supervisor and crisis interventionist has made peer support known and grown in Italy. She has written with friends and colleagues 4 books: "I wish it had happened to me" on cancer families, "After germanwings, the life of an airline pilot", "Peer Support: crisis intervention", "Wellbeing in aviation", "Keep in contact* how to survive psychologically unscathed the effects of the pandemic". President of Mayday Italia Onlus, she guarantees with her professionalism the vitality of the association itself, association that counts more than 120 interventions per year in different areas of work.
She lives in Valpolicella with her partner and her son Riccardo, in his terrible two.
