Public Information Officer
Marion County Sheriff's Office (Indianapolis, IN)
Since 2012, Katie Carlson has served as the Public Information Officer for the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Her responsibilities include serving as the primary media contact, and managing media relations and social media across all Divisions of the MCSO.
Carlson is a certified yoga instructor, having completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at CitYoga in 2019. Katie regularly partners with government agencies to provide free yoga classes to the public.
Carlson graduated from Ball State University in 2005, studying Political Science, Communications Studies, and Psychology.
