Kathy Sullivan (MAAT, REACE) cofounded the Ashes2A.R.T. program in 2017 which offers free creative services and Amygdala Regulating Techniques to emergency services personnel and their families as part of a resiliency strengthening initiative. Ms Sullivan teaches wellness techniques to first responders, peer support teams, emergency services departments, and continuing education programs. She is also a contributor to Thrive Global/#FirstRespondersFirst and the co-author of "Ashes2Art: Mitigation strategies for short-and long-term distress in COVID-19 emergency services personnel” in the special Covid-19 issue in the Clinical Social Work Journal. Ms Sullivan uses and teaches Amygdala Regulating Techniques such as Havening and P.E.A.T for first responder wellness.
