A Cares Act funded program was developed to create innovative interventions to address the impact of COVID on the facilities and their staff. Programs were developed to virtually address significantly impacted populations. Customized approaches were developed to address specific issues including: Individual support; group team building; critical incident support; management consultation and support and strategic grief interventions. Virtual trainings were created and included self-care coping skills to diverse employees, coping with pandemic stress, coping with social unrest and other focused trainings to address issues at specific facilities.
