Professor of Medicine
Dr. Laura Raffals is Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. She received her Masters in Health Studies and completed her gastroenterology fellowship training at the University of Chicago, and for six years was a member of the faculty. In 2011, she joined the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division at Mayo Clinic, where she is a member of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease interest group. She serves as the Associate Chair of Medicine for Faculty Development and the Program Director of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship and subspecialty fellowship programs at Mayo Clinic. Her primary clinical and research interests include pouch disorders, exploring the intersection of pouch motility disorders and pouch inflammation..
