Dr. Sachin Agarwal, MD, MPH is an assistant professor of neurology and neurocritical care at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) and the Director of NeuroCardiac Comprehensive Care Clinic (N4C), the first of its kind in the United States. It is a “One-Stop-Shop” that offers comprehensive, multi-disciplinary, well-coordinated care for survivors of cardiac arrest. Dr. Agarwal's research interests lie in characterizing the psychological and health behavioral dimensions of cardiac arrest survivorship such as sleep and physical activity, and their association with future cardiovascular disease risk, and quality of life. He and his team are also involved in designing behavioral interventions for anxiety and PTSD-like symptoms by leveraging some of the physiological and biological targets.
