Manager of Mobile Care, EMS, Critical Care Transport, AHA Training Center
Nathan Stanaway first joined the fire service around 2000 where he quickly found a niche in the search and rescue / EMS side of the house. Since then, Nathan has worked as a paramedic (among other things) in EMS and hospital systems throughout the country where he enjoyed learning the methods employed to meet the needs of diverse communities.
Nathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics and a Master of Science in healthcare system management. Soon after, he worked for a state college teaching EMT and paramedic students the art and science of prehospital care. Currently, Nathan serves as the Baystate Health Senior Manager for the Division of Prehospital & Disaster Medicine, the Dispatch Health Program, the AHA Training Center, and the developing Critical Care Transport program.
