Paul Maxwell is a Paramedic in San Diego with over 30 years of experience. Paul has served in many roles; Clinical Coordinator, Paramedic Supervisor, Paramedic Program Coordinator, FTO, Paramedic Preceptor, EMS Educator, co-founder of EPIC Medics and California Paramedic Foundation.
He has spoken at many conferences presenting topics such as ambulance occupant safety, Medical Spanish, and drowning prevention. He served as the technical advisor for the CDC’s Appleseed Project and has spoken on multiple expert panels concerning the role of EMS in community injury prevention.
Paul is the author of RAPID Rescue Spanish and Medical Spanish Workshop. A leader in disaster response, has developed ambulance strike team training for FEMA Ambulance Strike Team deployments and responded to many disasters, including Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Michael, and earthquakes in Haiti and Nepal.
