Andrew Latimer, MD is an assistant professor of emergency medicine dual boarded in Emergency Medicine and EMS Medicine. Dr. Latimer works clinically in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and serves as the Associate Medical Director of both Airlift Northwest, the University based air medical program serving Washington State and Alaska, and the Seattle Fire Department Medic One program. He is also the Associate Director of the EMS medicine Fellowship at the University of Washington. Dr. Latimer practices clinically in the pre-hospital setting as a flight physician with Airlift Northwest. His clinical and research interests are in the resuscitation of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients, pre-hospital airway management, and pre-hospital blood product administration. He is also faculty of the Resuscitation Academy.
