Stacy Stanford joined NACCHO in 2012 and serves as the Director of Injury and Violence Prevention. Her portfolio includes programs on substance use disorder, drug overdose prevention and response, suicide prevention, adverse childhood experiences, and older adult falls prevention. She and her team provide technical assistance, funding, and training to more than 60 local health departments and communities around the country. Ms. Stanford received her MS in Public Health Microbiology from the George Washington University School of Public Health.
