Dr. Linda Dykes MBBS (Hons) FRCEM qualified from Newcastle University Medical School in 1996 and has been a Consultant in Emergency Medicine since 2005. During her time in the Welsh NHS (2005-2020) she worked extensively with both the Welsh Ambulance Service, and the regional Search & Rescue community. She has worked in Welsh Ambulance's Control Room, supported the training of pre- and post-registration paramedics, flew regularly with the RAF Search & Rescue Helicopter service until its closure in 2015, ran CME events for the regional EMS community, and was Director of the multi-agency collaborative Bangor Mountain Medicine project.
Linda is also a qualified General (Family) Practitioner, with an interest in Acute Community Geriatrics. She recently moved to a new role in Herefordshire, England, with a focus on developing "Hospital at Home" capability offering viable alternatives to acute admission.
