Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) accounts have helped people with disabilities across the country save money without losing their home and community-based supports and services. Unfortunately, millions of people with disabilities aren’t eligible for ABLE accounts because they didn't acquire their disability before age 26. The ABLE Age Adjustment Act would raise that age and help ensure that enough people use the accounts to keep state program fees low.
