Kids in Court Program Chairperson National Council of Jewish Women
Testifying can be scary, especially for kids facing their abuser. “Kids in Court” is a Saturday court program the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and the National Council of Jewish Women have hosted for over 20 years. This program introduces the families and kids to the courtroom and their advocacy team, and addresses some of the common fears and questions about the process. The presentation, led by a prosecutor, a victim advocate and a community volunteer will include suggestions on starting your own program and the lessons learned from 20 years of trial and error.
