Child Abuse Pediatrician Dorothy B Hersh Regional Child Protection Center
We have heard them all before, those myths about sex that often prevail into adulthood. There is no shortage of misinformation that continues to feed these myths, but there is no place for misinformation during the response to an outcry of child sexual abuse. This workshop will explore and demystify the more prevalent myths that may impact professionals responding to child sexual abuse cases in their communities. Participants will explore these myths and reflect on how their own beliefs may be impacting their response to child sexual abuse. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be better able to work from a foundation of fact, not fiction. This workshop will only be recorded and available On-Demand from August 9, 2021 until December 17, 2021.
