This case study will examine the investigation and prosecution of the torture of a three-year old, that included a sodium overdose, which resulted in the child’s death. The presenter will discuss navigating the complex medical issues from a non-medical perspective in this investigation. Attendees will learn about the various aspects the MDT navigated as well as the MDT's huge disappointment with the outcome of the case and how they have since attempted to heal together and move on.
