Michelle Rodgers is an LPC who provides direct mental health treatment to children and families at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC). She has nine years of experience working with clients impacted by abuse and trauma. She is certified in TF-CBT and is trained in Play Therapy, DBT, PSB-CBT, and EMDR. Michelle has also coordinated the group programming for DCAC for the past three years. She is passionate about increasing the use of group therapy in CACs in a way to that best meets the needs of the clients while also being a good steward of agency resources. During her career, Michelle has worked in various trauma focused settings, including schools and other non-profits. She received her MS in Counseling from the University of North Texas.
