Zero Abuse Project
Robert Peters is Senior Attorney at Zero Abuse Project, where he develops and delivers state-of-the-art training and comprehensive technical assistance to prosecutors and child abuse multidisciplinary team members on crimes against children. Previously, he worked as the Senior Cyber and Economic Crime Attorney and General Counsel with the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), and as assistant prosecuting Attorney and Special Prosecutor in multiple West Virginia jurisdictions. Robert specializes in the prosecution of technology-facilitated child abuse, sexual offenses, and juvenile cases. He is the founder and Chair of SHIELD Task Force, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that partners with schools, churches, and law enforcement agencies to prevent and respond to child abuse with excellence.
