Dallas Children's Advocacy Center
Ana Guzmán is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor who has been at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center for over seven years serving children and families who have experienced sexual and physical abuse, traumatic grief, as well as witnessed violent crime. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and has over 5,000 hours of direct clinical experience working in the field of trauma. Ana is trained in various evidenced-based modalities in order to better serve clients and families. She also has a passion for serving Spanish-speaking families and addressing cultural considerations. As part of her role, Ana also provides expert testimony in Dallas County child abuse cases. She has presented at the national and international level on the topic of trauma.
