Project Director of CAST and FORECAST
Children's Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis at the University of Missouri-St. Louis
Dorothy Haskell, LCSW, serves as the project director for the University of Missouri-St. Louis’ Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) program and FORECAST (Foundations for Outreach through Experiential Child Advocacy Studies), a federally funded SAMHSA grant program. FORECAST focuses on disseminating Problem Based Learning-Simulation curricula to multidisciplinary professionals and undergraduate students throughout the country to help create a more trauma-informed workforce. She is an active member of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, co-leading the Core Curriculum on Childhood Trauma Community of Practice and serving on the Secondary Traumatic Stress Collaborative Group. She also has extensive experience using evidence-based practices to treat childhood trauma.
