John Michael DiBianco, MD, is an Endourology fellow at the University of Michigan.
Originally from the Washington area, Dr. DiBianco completed his undergraduate studies at Trinity College in Hartofrd CT with a B.S. in psychology and premedical track. He then completed basic science research in a mineralized tissue lab at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC. He then completed medical school at Ross University. He then moved to Washington D.C. where he continued his training in urologc surgery. He is currently seeking advanced fellowship training in Endourology.
Throughout his training he maintained an interest in research working with both private and acedemic urologic groups. Dr. DiBianco is a published author and has a particular interest in: BPH treatment (HOLEP), transperineal diagnosis of prostate cancer, the management of complex kidney stones, percutaneous access for the removal of kidney stones, prevention and metabolic evaluation of recurrent kidney stones, and robotic surgery for the reconstruction of the urinary tract.
