Information about meeting certificates can be found below:
  • Certificate of Attendance: All professional attendees are eligible to receive a certificate of attendance. A Certificate of Attendance verifies your participation in the conference but does not indicate any continuing education available for the activity.

    Certificates of Attendance will be available beginning on June 7, and may be printed or emailed.  To claim your Certificate of Attendance, please visit and follow the log-in instructions on this website:

  • Certificate of Presentation: Abstract presenters can request a Certificate of Presentation specific to their abstract presentation beginning on June 14. To request a Certificate of Presentation, please email, use the subject line 'Certificate of Presentation', and include the abstract presentation number in the body of the email message. Please allow 3 business days to receive a Certificate of Presentation by return email.

  • Continuing Education Certificates: Beginning on June 7, click Continuing Education on the left-hand panel, and then Claim CE Credit to access the Continuing Education evaluation (login required). NUTRITION 2021 LIVE ONLINE will offer Continuing Education credit for select sessions attended live by attendees. Evaluations must be completed to download a Continuing Education certificate. The deadline to claim Continuing Education credit is July 31, 2021. How to Check Your Device

  • Use Chrome (or Firefox if needed)
  • Ensure your internet connection is strong
  • Disconnect from any VPN (you may need to reach out to your IT administrator to bypass your organization’s firewall)
  • If you have connected from home, ensure that Netflix or other streaming services do not interfere with your bandwidth
  • Close any browser tabs with pages that can use large amounts of bandwidth
System Check
Testing your device is a great way to ensure you are ready to access meeting content! The platform provides a System Check tool that runs a series of checks on your computer and web browsers to get confirmation that your device is suitable to use the full potential of the platform.

If there are any problems then you will see either yellow warnings (things that can be improved) or red warnings (things that may limit your experience). Your organization's IT support team may be able to help you resolve any of these that are beyond your capabilities.

How to Log In

To access meeting content, follow these steps:
  • To log in, use the email address you registered with and your password. You should have received your password by email. If you have not received your password, click here to have your password resent to you.
  • Once logged in, you must accept the terms and privacy policy to continue.
  • Set up your attendee profile so you can start connecting with other attendees, speakers, and exhibitors.
  • Explore the meeting program, favorite items to add them to your personal schedule, and get familiar with the platform.

How to Set Up Your Attendee Profile

The first time you login, you will be prompted to set up your attendee profile. You can also update your profile at any time by clicking here (login required) if you would like to make changes.

ASN encourages you to update your profile with your photo and opt into the networking options to get the most out of the virtual meeting’s features.

There are 5 steps to setting up your profile:
  • Profile: Update your name, professional information, and social media accounts. Almost all fields are optional.
  • Photo: Upload a photo to appear as part of your attendee profile. This is optional but encouraged.
  • Ribbons: Add ribbons to appear on your attendee profile. Like at ASN’s in-person meetings, these ribbons will help other attendees learn more about you. There are a variety of professional and fun ribbons to choose from.
  • Matchmaking: Choose your preferences for the meeting’s Matchmaking feature. This will help identify educational sessions and exhibitor categories matching your interests.
  • Networking:
    • Select your privacy options. Questions include:
      • Share contact information with other users, including attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors on the platform? By sharing your contact information, your profile will appear on the attendee list under your name, and other users may contact you. You will be able to contact other users if you have opted in as well.
      • Share contact information with exhibitors and sponsors you interact with? By sharing your contact information, exhibitors and sponsors you interact with on the platform may contact you to answer your questions or provide additional information.
      • Share your favorites with other users, including attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors? By sharing your favorites, other attendees can see which schedule items you have added to your schedule.
    • If you opt into appearing on the attendee list, you can include additional information to introduce yourself and your preferences for connecting with other attendees. This information will appear on your attendee profile and is optional to include.

How to View the Meeting Program and Create Your Personalized Schedule

Or, use the left-hand panel to browse the Full Schedule by day, track, session type, presentation title, or presenter.

Use the Abstract Presentations links on the left-hand panel to browse all abstracts. Abstract presentations are available on demand, offering flexibility to presenters and attendees for their schedules.

Favorite the sessions, events, abstract presentations, presenters, and exhibitors you want to save to your personalized schedule by clicking the star at the top of any popup window. Click here to access your personalized schedule at any time (login required).

How to Access Recorded Content

For sessions for which recordings are available, on the session’s popup window, click the View button. A new window will open where the session’s recordings can be viewed.

Session recordings are available if an ‘R’ icon accompanies it on the meeting schedule. If an 'R' icon is not included, a recording is not available for the session.

For Oral Sessions and the Emerging Science: Highlights from Rapid Science Submissions session, on the session popup window, click on a presentation title to view a specific presentation. Then, click the View Presentation button. A new window will open where the presentation will be played.

For Poster Presentations, on the abstract popup window, click on the ePoster image or the View ePoster button. The ePoster will display and audio will be played simultaneously.

How to Use My Experience

Once logged in, use your My Experience page to manage and enhance your meeting experience. My Experience is your hub for all meeting content and features.

Click here to access your My Experience page (login required). It can also be accessed from the left-hand panel or home screen.

On My Experience, access the following resources at any time:
  1. My Experience: Schedule: Your personalized schedule based on the educational tracks you selected in your attendee profile.
  2. My Experience: Exhibitors: Your personalized list of exhibitors based on the categories you selected in your attendee profile. Each exhibitor has a percentage next to their name to indicate how well their categories match up with the categories you selected.
  3. Profile (listed as your name): Your profile information for the meeting - edit your information at any time!
  4. My Schedule: Your schedule based on the sessions and events you have favorited.
  5. My Posters: Posters you have favorited.
  6. My Exhibitors: Exhibitors you have favorited.
  7. Networking: Your networking resource for the meeting. Once clicked, you will be redirected to the Attendee List where you can browse the list to connect with other attendees.
  8. My Questions: Your questions submitted for an oral, Emerging Science or poster presentation. Please note questions could only be submitted to presenting authors using the Q&A feature from June 7-10.
  9. Virtual Quest: Check your progress and track other attendees on the leaderboard to see where you stand with the competition. Please note Virtual Quest participation closed on June 10.

How to Access the Virtual Expo Hall

Find the solutions to your biggest challenges! Explore the virtual interactive exhibits, connect with product experts, watch videos and demonstrations, and download product information.

Browse exhibitors different ways:
  • Browse By Company: This will show an exhibitor listing in alphabetical order (A-Z). Click on an exhibitor to visit their virtual booth.
  • Browse By Category: This will show an exhibitor listing by category. This will show an exhibitor listing in alphabetical order (A-Z). Click on an exhibitor to visit their virtual booth.
  • Product Showcase: The Product Showcase is comprised of product listings from our various exhibitors. Learn more about these products by viewing videos, infographics and PDFs.
  • Logo Wall: View the logos of the exhibitors.
    • When you click on a company or logo from the Logo Wall, you will see the exhibitor’s virtual booth. From here you can view the company details, click through resources, and connect with representatives.

Once in a booth, connect with company representatives:
  • Contact Info: From here you can see the booth representatives. If you click on their image you can learn more about the representative and email them directly.
  • Text Chat: Start a conversation with the exhibitor and join in the discussion on the Discussion Board.
  • Request Information: If you click this button you are able to write a message to the company requesting more info. The company will receive your request and get back to you by email.

How to Claim Continuing Education Credits

NUTRITION 2021 LIVE ONLINE will offer Continuing Education credit for live attendance of select sessions on the original session date.

Sessions offering Continuing Education credit are indicated by CME, CPE or CECH icons on the schedule pages. Or, click the links below to view the sessions offering Continuing Education credit:
Beginning on June 7, click Continuing Education on the left-hand panel, and then Claim CE Credits to access the Continuing Education evaluation (login required). Evaluations must be completed to download a Continuing Education certificate.

The deadline to claim Continuing Education credit is July 31, 2021.

Continuing Medical Education for Physicians

The American Society for Nutrition is proud to announce that it has been reviewed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and awarded provisional status as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.  Accreditation in the ACCME System seeks to assure the medical community and the public that ASN delivers education that is relevant to clinicians’ needs, evidence-based, evaluated for its effectiveness, and independent of commercial influence.

The American Society for Nutrition is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

ASN designates this live activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.

Continuing Professional Education for Dietitians/Dietetic Technicians
ASN (Provider #NS010) is accredited and approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a provider of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) programs for Registered Dietitians.

ASN designates this live activity for a maximum of 15 CPE credits.

National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC)
The American Society for Nutrition is a designated provider (Provider #101787) of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES/MCHES) to receive up to 12 Category I contact hours in health education.

ASN designates this live activity for a maximum of 12 entry-level CECH.

Non-physician and Non-dietetic Healthcare Professionals
ASN does not offer CME credit to non-physicians. However, all non-physician and non-dietetic healthcare professionals at NUTRITION 2021 LIVE ONLINE will be able to complete an evaluation and download a Certificate of Participation. This certificate designates your participation in this education activity. It lists the amount of continuing medical education credit that has been designated for physicians by ASN. You should be able to use this documentation for your licensing or certification needs. To determine if activities designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ are acceptable for your licensing or certification needs, please contact your credentialing body directly. Please note ASN cannot guarantee its acceptance.

New this year, view the Attendee List (login required) to find others looking to connect and network!  The Attendee List will be available on June 1 to attendees logged into the platform.
  • Click on an attendee’s profile to learn more about them. Connect with them by social media if they have shared this information.  You can also send them a message by clicking Text Chat at the top of their attendee profile.
  • Use the questions at the top of the Attendee List to filter the list.
  • Click on a virtual ribbon to find others with common interests.
