A message from Midwest ASAS President-Elect, Dr. Phillip MillerDear Colleagues:The MWASAS meeting is a little over a month away. If you are like me, everything seems like a blur since the 2020 MWASAS meeting. You have heard from Dr. Krehbiel regarding the rationale for moving the meeting to a virtual format. We have all been rearranging our work schedules, travel, and personal interactions. Yes, I am zoomed out, but I very excited about the virtual MWASAS meeting! Thirty years ago, I attended my first MWASAS meeting (I have only missed one meeting during that time). A Message from Midwest ASAS Past President, Dr. Steven MoellerDear MWASAS Section,As we approach the 2021 Annual Meeting, scheduled for March 8 – 10, 2021, I would like to invite you, your colleagues, graduate students, and/or undergraduate student populations you may serve to register for this important scientific meeting. While we are not able to meet in-person for 2021, you can be assured that the virtual delivery will offer the high quality, impactful science that the Midwest Section is known to provide. Abstract submission and symposia offered in 2021 nearly match the numbers offered in 2020, and advances in our knowledge of distance delivery offer great opportunities to watch, participate, and learn from individuals who are prepared and ready to present their studies through the virtual venue.
