One of our focus areas is catalytic hydrogenations where we fully hydrogenate oleochemical derivatives in a continuous, single-pass of the reactor. The CRU contains our proprietary Activated Carbon Monolith catalyst, which offers an improved catalyst lifetime, enhanced selectivity, and no attrition – eliminating the catalyst separation process step. Working together with us will make the switch to continuous chemistry easy for your team - our services align with your scale-up from lab to pilot to commercial production. In addition to our process and catalyst offering in hydrogenation, we can help develop continuous processes in other chemistries using heterogeneous catalysts on a developmental basis. In these processes, we would employ the best available catalyst technology, whether developed by Applied Catalysts or other catalyst vendors, and would be done on a developmental basis until proven viable. The key is to assist our customers to a turn-key system for continuous chemistry.
