Official Methods and Recommended Practices of the AOCS
Welcome to the AOCS Methods Booth!
This is the place to learn about the official methods and recommended practices of the AOCS – your essential tools for laboratory testing, quality control and trade. AOCS maintains a vigorous program of method update and new method development working with the subject matter experts in the subcommittees of the AOCS Uniform Methods Committee; with our partner organizations and with our members – particularly the leading analytical laboratories participating in our Laboratory Proficiency Program.
Are you an analytical chemist?
AOCS is calling for researchers with experience and expertise in laboratory analysis to join the following subcommittees of the AOCS Uniform Methods Committee. Committee members consider proposed new methods and updates to existing methods to determine if they are of sufficient precision and utility and reflect the latest innovations in analytical methodologies. International collaborative trials will be conducted for methods that receive initial acceptance as they progress towards possible inclusion as official AOCS methods.
