Qiana Johnson is currently the Northwestern University Libraries’ Interim Associate University Librarian for Collections Strategies. Qiana graduated from the University of Chicago with a bachelor’s in English Language and Literature and with a master’s in Library and Information Science from Dominican University. She has worked at the Northwestern University Libraries since 2004 first as a Reference and Instruction Librarian. Her recent research interests include collection assessment methods at large research libraries and strategic planning for collectionsShe is active with the American Library Association and the Reference and User Services Association and was named to the first cohort of ALA’s Policy Corps.
