The Wyoming Library to Business (WL2B) project, part of the Libraries Build Business initiative, is dedicated to scaling the successful Laramie County Library System L2B (Library to Business) service to public libraries across the state. Wyoming Library to Business connects entrepreneurs and business owners with a curated network of business experts, resources to learn new skills, and the tools to succeed at every stage. WL2B will build three video production studios, at least eight business stations, and create the WL2B Network, a peer-to-peer librarian group committed to assisting Wyoming rural business communities and women-owned businesses.
Included in the inaugural WL2B Network are video production studios based on the Penn State One Button Studio model and customized by a University of Wyoming IT Librarian. The Business Stations will receive a laptop with webcam, enabling entrepreneurs and small business owners to meet virtually with experts from across the state. The stations will also include a portable projector so libraries can take full advantage of the online programs and webinars produced by the Wyoming Women’s Business Center, Wyoming SBDC Network and other economic development organizations.
