Peter Patrick Langella, MFA, (he/him) is a librarian and social justice advisor at a high school in Vermont. He earned a Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Peter also works as a school library instructor at the University of Vermont, and an English instructor at Northern Vermont University. He was a 2017 Fellow at The Rowland Foundation, a member of the first AASL Induction Leadership Cohort, and the co-recipient of the VSLA’s 2020 Outstanding School Librarian Award with chapter co-author Meg Boisseau Allison. Peter is currently in his three-year executive term on the VSLA Board and simultaneously serves as its Legislative Concerns Representative.
