As the Director of Community Outreach & Advocacy for Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging, develops the Agency’s external approaches to brand strategy including development of outreach efforts, public relations and marketing as well as establishing sustainable collaborations and partnerships resulting in new programs/services to address community needs and interests. In addition, staff liaison for the Five County Advisory Council. Local, state and national speaker on various subjects.
Engagement with the social services network sharing skills and talents with Greater Cleveland Volunteers, Alzheimer’s Association, Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging, United Way of Greater Cleveland and Cuyahoga County Public Library system.
As a Librarian developed more than 5,000 programs including health and wellness initiatives which received 2014 Community Leadership Award from the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition Fitness. An ALA Spectrum Scholar. In addition, a Carnegie- Whitney Grant-2015 recipient created a compendium - Passport to Aging: Celebrating Global Perspectives. Former Chairperson for Library Services to an Aging Population, Committee of Reference and User Services Assn. (RUSA).
