Dr. Elizabeth Burns is an Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University Norfolk, VA
She is a career educator who has worked as a classroom teacher and school librarian in K-12 schools. She now teaches pre-service library education courses focusing on curriculum and instruction, assessment, school library pedagogy, and information literacy. She has served on a variety of national committees in the school library field to include the editorial board selected write the AASL National School Library Standards for Learners, School Librarians, and School Libraries and is current co-editor of AASL’s research journal, School Library Research.
