During the pandemic, libraries around the world, including in Africa, have had to deal with a variety issues. This panel will address Covid-19 concerns such as, the security and health of staff, reduced hours of reading room and community space, loaning of materials, and diminished access to the Internet and databases for researchers.
Upon completion, participants will be able to see examples of how libraries in Africa developed plans and organized, planned, and responded to Covid-19 for their staff and users.
Upon completion, participants will be able to hear about how African librarians innovated and acted to make a plan for the staff and users they serve.
