Universal Design for Learning is a framework gaining momentum in education. While some academic librarians and colleges and universities have begun to embrace UDL to promote equity and inclusion, many librarians do not know about what UDL is or how to promote it in the library. Practical suggestions will be shared for using UDL techniques when creating instructional modules or tutorials, outreach documents, and teaching instruction sessions or programming. Breanne Kirsch began a UDL initiative at Briar Cliff University and will describe her experience to help other librarians create more equitable and inclusive resources for all patrons.
