Michelle H. Cameron, MD, PT, MCR, a neurologist and physical therapist, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Cameron’s research has focused primarily on mobility and falls in people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and more recently on cannabinoid use in people with MS. Dr. Cameron also provides clinical neurology care to people with MS and related disorders and participates in various other clinical trials of MS treatments. As a physical therapist, Dr. Cameron wrote the textbook, Physical Agents in Rehabilitation: from Research to Practice. She is also a co-founder of the Clinical Cannabis for Health Care Providers Continuing Medical Education course, the International Symposium on Gait and Balance in Multiple Sclerosis and co-editor of the textbooks, Physical Rehabilitation: Evidence-Based Examination, Evaluation and Intervention, and, Physical Rehabilitation for the Physical Therapist Assistant.
