Stephen's research interest is to enable daily participation in people living with chronic conditions and disability via precise assessments and innovative interventions. His current research, via the application of ecological momentary assessment and accelerometry, focuses on 1) understanding the relationship between daily physical activity participation, psychosocial wellbeing, and motivation, and 2) improving participation among individuals with stroke. His career goal is becoming a competent rehabilitation researcher who makes substantial contributions to rehabilitation and of improving the practice of occupational therapy.
