Dean, College of Health Sciences
Rebecca L Craik, PT, PhD, is the Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Arcadia University. Prior to being appointed as Dean in 2014, she was the Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy. Dr. Craik received her undergraduate training at Case Western Reserve University, a master’s degree in physical therapy at Duke University, and a PhD in physiology at the Temple University School of Medicine. A theme that threads through her teaching and research is adaptability, whether working with the older adult or examining animal models of human dis-ease. She has a long-standing history working with older adults, with and without disabilities, in several research investigations. A keen interest in physical performance has been an asset in collaborations with both clinical and basic scientists to examine effect of treatment or underlying mechanisms associated with recovery.
