Director Of Quality, ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation
Tiffany Kendig, PT, DPT, MPH, CLT serves as Director of Quality for ReVital, Select Medical’s national cancer rehabilitation program. In this role, she is responsible for directing activities to measure and improve clinical outcomes across the ReVital network as well as collaborating with key stakeholders to implement quality improvement initiatives. Her focus is on development and implementation of value-based programmatic goals and objectives, clinical programs to enhance quality and strategies to facilitate care delivery.
She practiced in the oncology rehabilitation setting for nearly 10 years at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in the roles of senior therapist in the acute care setting, clinical specialist in neurology in the outpatient setting, and supervisor of outpatient rehabilitation services. At MSK, she contributed to program development for specialty populations such as allogeneic stem cell transplant and led development of the outpatient portion of the oncology physical therapy residency program. She joined Select Medical in 2017 as ReVital Program Director at Kessler where she played an instrumental role in increasing patient and physician awareness of cancer rehabilitation services and driving programmatic growth.
Tiffany served on the executive board of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy as membership chair and member-at-large, and is currently the academy’s population health liaison. She has also contributed to the academy’s Evaluation Database to Guide Effectiveness (EDGE) taskforce as a co-lead on the initiative related to functional shoulder outcome measures in breast cancer. Additionally, Tiffany is active in the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine’s cancer rehabilitation networking group.
Tiffany has co-authored many peer-reviewed manuscripts as well as lectured at national conferences in the area of oncology rehabilitation. She holds a bachelor’s of science, master’s degree and clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Boston University, and is also a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Public Health.
