Dr. Tamara Ownsworth is a Clinical Neuropsychologist (BA[Hons], PhD) and Professor in the School of Applied Psychology at Griffith University, Australia. She has extensive experience in cognitive and psychosocial intervention research for people with acquired brain injury, including traumatic brain injury, brain tumour and stroke. Post PhD she was awarded a NHMRC Post-Doctoral fellowship (2002-2006). She is the incoming Research Director for The Hopkins Centre, Research for Rehabilitation and Resilience and is an Executive Editor of Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and Past President and Fellow of the Australasian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment. She received the International Neuropsychological Society 2021 Arthur Benton Mid-Career Award.
