Anthony T Laffoon, MA, CBIS is a Resource Facilitator- Clinical Specialist for the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana. His primary role is to link TBI survivors with the education and resources that they need to ensure a successful return to work following a brain injury. Tony has been a collaborator on several RHI projects ranging from the delivery of psychoeducational services to TBI survivors and their caregivers via telehealth, to working with individuals recently released from trauma centers, to providing TBI informed services to survivors and military veterans involved with the criminal justice system. More recently, Tony has co-facilitated groups with focus on Brain Injury Coping Skills as well as an Intervention to Change Attributions that are Negative (for managing irritability and anger after a brain injury). Tony joined the RHI team in 2015 after having served two years as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Xavier University. Prior to this, Tony earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Purdue University. He is currently certified through the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists.
