Dr. Pratt attended Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate studies with a major in Neuroscience. She went on to complete her medical training in a combined MD/PhD program at the Indiana University School of Medicine with graduate studies in Medical Neurobiology. She remained at IU for her residency training in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and following graduation joined the faculty at the same institution. She has established a career as an academic physiatrist with a variety of clinical interests including rehabilitation of neurotrauma in the acute inpatient care setting as well as treating chronic neurologic disorders in the outpatient setting. In addition to managing patients with complex neurologic presentations, she has experienced first-hand multiple episodes of Mal de Debarquement syndrome and the frustrations that accompany this poorly understood condition.
