Susan Ronan is a PT researcher and clinician since 1989 working with families and children in multiple settings. She is an assistant professor of clinical physical therapy at New York Medical College and continues to work in the home care setting for children birth to school age. Her research focus is balance and fitness for children with autism. Her publications include an article on multimedia home education materials for parent of infants discharged from the NICU and rehabilitation after facial nerve grafting. She has presented nationally on balance assessment for children with autism, the effects of a school based running program for children with autism, school based fitness programs, including national mandates and a systematic review of recommended treadmill training parameters for children with cerebral palsy.
