Christine E. Lee, MD, CPE, FAAO is a physician, a surgeon and an executve professional coach, a clinical associate professor at the Department of Ophthalmology, Baylor College of Medicine, and the CEO of Crossroads Coaching & Consulting, LLC. Dr. Lee’s leadership philosophy is based on her values of integrity, trust, and respect. Her overarching goal is to strive for excellence and success for herself and others around her. With her background in philosophy, Dr. Lee develops a strategic perspective to consider many different views and uses collaboration to bring in ideas from other disciplines.
Dr. Lee achieved her certified physician executive status through the American Association of Physician Leadership by engaging in physician leadership and medical management courses and undergoing the rigorous capstone process.
Dr. Lee is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Honors Program in Philosophy and Cellular & Molecular Biology, the University of Michigan Medical School, and the University of Virginia ophthalmology residency. Dr. Lee was a Howard Hughes Research Scholar at the Immunogenetics section of the NIH. She has practiced comprehensive ophthalmology specializing in cataract and refractive surgery for 24 years.
