Dr. Huang’s research interest includes biomechanical human movement science, occupational safety and health, and applied ergonomics in minimal invasive surgery. His overall research goal is to identify the role of cortical and neuromuscular control while executing a functional task under the virtual reality environment in healthy and neurodegeneration population. Dr. Huang obtained his PhD in Physical Therapy with biomechanics focus from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his postdoctoral training at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital at Lincoln, Nebraska. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
