Gino Panza is a fourth year post-doc with previous experience developing and implementing an overground locomotor training program for individuals with spinal cord injuries (primarily individuals with tetraplegia), and administering therapeutic mild intermittent hypoxia to patients with untreated obstructive sleep apnea and untreated hypertension. Dr. Panza is currently researching there therapeutic effects of mild intermittent hypoxia in patients with spinal cord injuries. Dr. Panza is currently a Health Science Specialist in the Department of Veteran Affairs, and a post-doctoral fellow at Wayne State University, School of Medicine, Department of Physiology.
