NYU-Langone Health Rusk Rehabilitation
Holly Cohen is an occupational therapist who specializes in the use of technology to compensate for impairments an individual with a disability might experience. With over 20 years of experience, she started the assistive technology service at NYU Langone Health and is currently the program manager across all campuses. She is also an adjunct professor at New York University in the occupational therapy program. Holly believes that technology is the great equalizer, allowing people with mixed abilities to become independent in all areas; including teaching people to make and hack their own solutions. She has lectured nationally and internationally on the use of technology as a medium to facilitate independence, including at the 2016 TED conference in Vancouver.
