Mary has worked since 1983 with children with a variety of developmental disabilities, including cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, genetic disorders, muscular dystrophies, brachial plexus injury, torticollis orthopedic and sports injury. Her career in PT has taken her to rural Jamaica as a Peace Corps Volunteer, Blythedale Children’s Rehab Hospital in Valhalla NY, The Paley Limb Lengthening Institute in WPB, and the Arc of Palm Beach County, where she was instrumental in helping to develop Potentials Charter School, an innovative therapy-intensive school for children who are non-ambulatory and non-verbal. Mary is experienced using a variety of modalities in therapy, including therapeutic horseback riding, adaptive aquatic sports, adaptive gymnastics and dance, aquatic therapy, NMES, treadmill training and whole body vibration. She holds monthly orthotics clinic and wheelchair/equipment clinic to provide clients with optimal support. Mary also has been an adjunct professor teaching pediatric classes and labs to DPT students at the University of St. Augustine and Nova Southeastern University. She presents live webinars through Allied Health Education and presented virtually at the Florida Annual Family Cafe Conference in 2020.
