This symposium will review research regarding the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the health of people with disability, including 1) substance use, sleep disturbance, depression, and social participation of people with spinal cord injury; 2) chronic pain management disruption among minorities with disabilities; and 3) general perceived health, mental health, and activity participation of adolescents with cerebral palsy. New knowledge gained from the studies will facilitate the work of the clinicians and policy makers to help persons with disabilities cope with this serious public health crisis and prepare for future events.
