Following the restrictions related to COVID-19 precaution, many clinical practices rapidly evolved to provide care over telehealth, including cognitive rehabilitation. In this symposium by the Oncology Cognitive Rehabilitation Task Force of ACRM, we will review leading-edge practices for rehabilitation assessment (neuropsychology, physiatry, speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy) and delivery of cognitive rehabilitation over telehealth. We will also present new data from clinical studies of cognitive rehabilitation programs delivered over telehealth, as well as case studies, and describe the advantages and disadvantages, platforms, and methods for delivering care.
Participants will be able to describe current telehealth practices in assessment for cognitive rehabilitation and resources for learning more.
Participants will learn about delivery models of cognitive rehabilitation over telehealth.
Participants will be able to identify advantages and disadvantages of cognitive rehabilitation over telehealth, available platforms and logistical aspects of delivering care.
