This symposium will focus on return to driving after a concussion. We will highlight the dire need for evidence-based guidelines to assist patients and clinicians in return to driving after concussion. We will demonstrate that acute and persistent symptoms of concussion hamper the ability to drive safely, and that some patients with concussion continue to drive despite feeling unsafe behind the wheel. We will provide guidelines for return to driving after concussion based on current research and best clinical practice.
