I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and a master’s in public health (MPH) in Maternal and Child Health from the University of South Florida. My clinical research interests include pediatric malnutrition, food insecurity, and the role of the gut microbiome in maternal and child health. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work alongside remarkable colleagues and mentors who have provided me with opportunities for research and service recognitions such as the ASPEN Abstract of Distinction Award, ASPEN Best of Clinical Nutrition Week (Pediatrics) Award, and the Academy PNPG Published Research Award.
