The value of surgeon wellness and professional diversity have garnered increased focus in recent years in all areas of medicine and dentistry. This symposium will bring together a variety of experts on several topics, including burnout, inclusion as well as gender and racial diversity and discuss how they relate to residency training, career choices and other aspects of professional practice. In addition, the speakers will share thoughts on how best to improve wellness and diversity in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
